Diana Yglesias Charles, age 67 of Taft, TX passed away unexpectedly on November 26, 2025. Diana was born to Julia Pedraza Yglesias and Arturo Yglesias on February 06, 1958, in Taft, TX.
Diana grew up in Taft and Lockhart, TX and was a graduate of Taft High School. She held various positions for the State of Texas and was a long time employee of Golden Corral. She enjoyed spending time with all of her Children, Grandchildren, her beloved dog Chico and late Husband. She loved to travel, take spontaneous trips, go on cruises and enjoy life to the fullest! Diana was a loving, caring and devoted Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister and Aunt. She was always there for her family and will always be remembered for her heart, kindness, laugh and making everyone smile.
Diana is preceded in death by her Husband Richard Charles, Daughter Lanette Ann Charles, Parents Julia and Arturo Yglesias, Brothers Arturo Yglesias and Martin Yglesias.
Diana is survived by her Son Jeremiah B. Lugo (Erica), Daughter Janette L. Lugo-Estrada (Andrew) and Son Richard M. Charles (Amanda), Grandchildren Jeremiah B. Lugo II, Jonah N. Lugo, Reese G. Lugo, Jillesa A. L. Estrada, Levi M. Charles, Emma Grace L. Charles, Chloe A. Charles and Logan W. Charles. She is also survived by her Brother Julio Yglesias (Alicia), Sisters Elena Ojeda (Plutarco), Carmen (Jimmy) Hernandez and Elvira Rodriguez (Ezekial) along with numerous Nieces, Nephews and Cousins who loved her so dearly.
A public visitation will be held at 4:00 p.m. followed by a Holy Rosary at 6:30 p.m. on December 5th 2025 at Guardian Funeral Chapel. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 6th 2025 at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church, 3502 Saratoga Blvd, Corpus Christi, TX.
Serving as pallbearers are Jeremiah Lugo II, Jonah Lugo, Julian Rodriguez, Zeke Rodriguez, Marty Yglesias and Christopher Villegas.
