Desiree Marie Flores, 29, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 17, 2021.  She was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on June 16, 1991.

She was a loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt, grand-daughter, friend and she will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Desiree loved to be around family and friends, and was always the life of the party.

Desiree is survived by her son Frankie Rey Vargas, her mother, Debbie Flores (Joe Luis Salazar), her father, Javier Flores, maternal grandfather, Manuel Rodriguez, paternal grandmother, Irma Martinez. Desiree is the oldest of seven siblings, Javier Flores, Jr., Jeremiah (Kayla) Flores, Joe Manuel Flores, Deidra Flores, Xavier Flores, and Abigail Flores and she was a Tia of eight, two nephews, Demetri and Joziah Flores and six nieces, Davina Bustamante, Jenavieve, Jazariah, Janiah, Ja'miah and Jozette Flores, and numerous Tios, Tias, family and friends.

Public visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at Guardian funeral home chapel with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. A Chapel service to Celebrate Desiree's life will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at Guardian funeral home with burial to follow in Rose hill cemetery.
