Obituary
She was born in Fall River, Massachusetts to her loving parents Raymond and Georgette on September 10, 1956.
Denise had a fun and loving spirit, it was often said that she was the life of the party. Always with a smile on her face and a joke on her lips, the happiness which she brought to others could light even the darkest room. Denise lived everyday as if it could have been her last, understanding that this life is about the memories we make and share with those we cherish and that love is unconditional and forgiving. All in all she desired to do God's will, as she cared for the elderly as a Certified Nurses Assistant. Her beautiful soul and zest for life will live on through her loving family and many friends.
She leaves behind, to cherish her memories, her devoted husband Justin Hickman; Mother: Georgette L'Heureux - Plainfield, CT; 3 Children: Jeff Rizer - Plainfield, CT; Chris Rizer - Plainfield, CT and Tanya Rizer and Son In Law Craig Blanchard, Canterbury, CT; Grandchildren: Cole, Brady and Hannah Rizer of Plainfield, CT; 3 Step Children: Stephanie Hickman - Moosup, CT, Jeremy Hickman - Uncasville, CT, Josh Hickman - Merida, Yucatan; Siblings:
Ray & Ann L'Heureux - Maryville, TN, Rick & Dawn L'Heureux - Maryville, TN, Suzanne & James Mioduszewski - Plainfield, CT, Lisa & Mark Laflamme - Norwich, CT, Missy Blondin - Norwich, CT; numerous Nieces, Nephews.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 4:00 p.m. Monday, November 19, 2018 at Saint Andrew by the Sea Catholic Church 14238 Encantada Ave.
