Deborah D. Davila was born January 20, 1949 in Grinnell, IA for Marlan and Sybil McWilliams. She grew up on a small farm in Guernsey, IA where they raised all kinds of animals. Her favorite were the dogs and cats. She graduated from BGM high school in 1967 and continued her education at AIB college in Des Moines, IA. After graduation she began her career with the U.S. Post Office.
In 1982 she transferred to Corpus Christi (she never liked the cold winters in Iowa). She was married to Daniel Davila in 1984. They both retired from the post office and raised dogs over the years. Her cats were her comfort in her final days. She passed away June 30, 2018 at Palma Real care Center in Mathis Texas at the age of 69. She is survived by her husband Daniel Davila, his two daughters Cristina and Veronica and their children her brother Lowell McWilliams(Deann) of Guernsey, IA. Several aunts, uncles, nieces, and 2 nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother Sybil and father marlan.
Debbie will be missed by her family and many friends. Interment will be at a later date at the VA cemetery in Corpus Christi.
