David Brian Watson, 73, of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away on December 22, 2025, after a long illness. He loved to read and write letters and articles concerning mental health and often politics. His appreciation for photography brought him opportunities to capture nature up close and personal.

He was born on October 27, 1952, in Monahans, Texas. After moving to Abilene, Texas, he graduated from Abilene High School with honors. He attended Rice University and graduated in 1994. He worked at various jobs before moving to Corpus Christi, Texas.

He is preceded in death by his father, Marsh S. Watson, Jr., his mother, Marjorie Lou Watson, and his brother, Mark Alan Watson. He is survived by his sister, Barbara Jan Watson Martin; his brother-in-law, John Thomas Martin; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family wishes to express their gratitude to the staff of Wooldridge Place Nursing Center and Harbor Hospice for their care, support, and honor of Brian during the past four years of his life.
