David Andrew Hernandez, 30, passed away October 13, 2014. He was born on August 10, 1984 in Corpus Christi, Tx. and he attended Calallen I.S.D. and loved baseball and played with Calallen High School and Moody High School. He was a loving son, brother, grandson, nephew, and friend and he will dearly missed by all that knew and loved him. David was preceded in death by his brother, Javier Eden Gonzalez, his paternal grandfather, Ernesto Hernandez, maternal grandfather, Guadalupe Chano Gonzalez. He is survived by his daughter, Aurora "Rori" Stringham, and her mother, Olivia Stringham, his mother Corinne Gonzalez, step-father, Eden Gonzalez, his father, David Hernandez, brother Aaron Hernandez, paternal grandmother, Petra Hernandez, Maternal grandmother, Rosario Gonzalez Benavides, (Nick Reyes), aunts & uncles, Sandra (Chris) Deleon, Tina (Robert) Salazar, David Gonzalez (Cindy), Gilbert & Richard Gonzalez, Diane (Albert) Gatica, Amanda Garcia, numerous cousins and friends. Public visitation will begin at 4:00 p.m., Thursday, October 16, 2014 at Guardian funeral home chapel A with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that evening. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1:00 pm. Friday, October 17, 2014 at Ss. Cyril & Methodius Catholic church, Kostoryz/SPID. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
