Daniel Chapa Rodriguez passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on June 12, 2019 at the age of 75. Daniel was born in Corpus Christi Tx. On October 14,1943 to parents Cruz Gomez Rodriguez and Josefa Chapa Rodriguez.

He joins now in heaven: his parents, and brother Cruz Rodriguez Jr.

Daniel leaves behind to cherish his memories: his wife Gloria D. Rodriguez; children: Danny Rodriguez, Elisa Rodriguez; four grandchildren: Christina Arzuaga (David), Nicolas Rodriguez, Cecily Rodriguez, Seth Rodriguez; three great grandchildren: Gianna Arzauga, Luca Arzuaga, and Aviana Gonzalez. He is also survived by his three sisters: Lupe Avila (Rafael), Angelita Savedra (Juan), and Margie Guererro (Ernest) and several nieces and nephews.

Daniel was a hard worker, and a very good provider for his family. He loved his kids and grandchildren. He spent most of his spare time barbequing for his family, fishing in the sparkling bays of Corpus Christi, and playing Golf. His biggest regret wasnot picking up golf at an earlier age. Daniel loved a good party with a good cocktail. He was the life of the party and a very handsome man. He made life very comical with his rare vocabulary and one liners. He was a very passionate man and loved life to the fullest, he fought a great fight against his cancer, and will always be known as the strongest man to our family.

A Holy Rosary will be recited at 2:00 p.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at  2:30 p.m. Friday, June 14, 2019 at the Corpus Christi Cathedral Catholic church.
