Daniel P. Escamilla, of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away peacefully on September 4, 2015. He was 62. He was the beloved husband of 40 years to Angelina Franco Escamilla. Born in Austin, Texas, he was the son of Daniel Escamilla, Sr., and Juanita P. Escamilla. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps, from 1970-1973 and received an honorable discharge. He worked at Citgo Refinery for 40 years as a Shift supervisor. He will be remembered as a devoted husband, loving father and doting grandfather, in addition to his loving wife, Daniel is survived by his children, Daniel (Anita) Escamilla of Houston, Texas Precious (Gabriel) Alvarado of Corpus Christi, Texas and Juanita Escamilla of Corpus Christi, Texas, grandchildren: Gabriel Angel and Victoria Alavardo, Brianna and Kimberly Alaniz, Danika, Daniel Christian and Samuel Escamilla, Sisters, Sandra (Albert) Lucio and Janie Mondragon,(Albert) one Brother, David (Hermie) Escamilla, and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. Thursday, September 10, 2015 at Guardian funeral home chapel "A" with a Prayer service to be held at 7:00 p.m. that evening. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 11, 2015 at Guardian funeral home chapel
