Daniel R. Castro, 31, passed away January 16, 2014, after a brief illness. Daniel was born March 17, 1982 to Rafael and Dolores Castro. He was a graduate of Carroll High School and employed at Mobley Industries. He was a loving and caring son who loved his family dearly. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ismael and Margarita Castro and Eliseo and Teodora Hernandez. He is survived by the love of his life, Sylvia Marie, his daughter, Sarah Olivia, step-son, Anthony Medrano, his parents, sister, Diana (Ruperto) Gallaga, brother, David Trevino, nephews, Adam and Aaron Estrada, godparents, Alfredo and Fela Silva, six aunts and three uncles from Puerto Rico and numerous cousins. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 18, 2014 at Ss. Cyril & Methodius catholic church, 3210 SPID with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 11:30 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at 12:00 noon. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens cemetery
