Daniel Ray Blaker, 53, passed away on August 16, 2014. He was born December 15, 1960 in Champaign, Illinois to Charlotte and Glen Blaker and was a longtime resident of corpus Christi, Tx. He was a lover of everyone and was very warm hearted. He had many hobbies that included racing, sports and performing in numerous local bands as a bass guitarist. He is preceded in death by his father, Glen Blaker, his step-father, Marv Duden, and his niece Amanda Blaker. Those left to cherish his memories are his mother, Charlotte Duden of Fithon, Illinois, son, Zachary (Carly) Blaker of Cape Coral, Fl, daughters, Lindsey Blaker of Canton, Illinois, Virginia Blaker of Corpus Christi, Tx. and Katrina Blaker of Corpus Christi, Tx. grandchildren, Jeff, Alanna, Coral, Caydan and Kadej and his wife, Betty Cox Blaker of Corpus Christi, Tx., his brother, Dave (Jackie) Blaker of Corpus Christi, Tx., He will also be missed by his nieces, other relatives and friends. Memorial Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, August 23, 2014 at Guardian funeral home Chapel B.
