IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Damien Phillip
Aguilar
August 4, 2002 – September 12, 2025
On September 12, 2025, Damien Phillip Aguilar left this world and transitioned to his next life after fighting a rare complication to medication.
Damien was born on August 4, 2002 in Corpus Christi, TX and was diagnosed with Autism at the age of 5. He fought hard everyday and never allowed his disabilities to define his abilities. Damien was blessed to have amazing teachers and therapists over the years who helped him
find his voice and develop his own sense of self. He was a graduate of Moody High School and a 2024 graduate of the Mary Grett Transition Center.
Damien was considered a "gentle giant" by his family, as he towered over most of them standing 6'6". He was always seen with a smile on his face and loved to act silly and make others laugh and smile. He loved Star Wars, Minecraft, and all things Lego, often building his own creative
masterpieces to show off to his family.
He is preceded in death by his loving Uncle Antonio "Tony" Principe, and his beloved Step-Father Lonnie Leroy Frischenmeyer.
He is survived by his mother, Denise Dalton (Ricky Ruiz), and his father, Felipe Aguilar (Melissa), his sisters Isidra E. Aguilar, Paige and Zoe Aguilar, his little brother Ricardo A. Ruiz, and his chosen sisters Serenity Aleman and Mariecruise Rodriguez. Although he is survived by countless uncles, aunts and cousins, all whom he loved, he also leaves behind his best friend, his beloved Uncle Joe D. Dalton Jr, as well as his Grandmother Cynthia Dalton, whom he spent time with as often as he could. Damien is also survived by his chosen family of aunts, uncles, and cousins whom may not have been blood but were there for him anytime he needed them.
Damien was the heart and soul of his family, often providing the comic relief during hard times. He will be missed dearly everyday.
The family would like to thank the educators and therapists who over the years helped Damien grow into an amazing man who successfully accomplished every milestone the doctors told his mother he would never do.
Damien will be cremated so he can return home to his family. The family has chosen to do a private memorial on their own in order to follow Damien's aversion to crowds.
