Cristina C. Leal known as Cris, passed away in her home on April 25,2024 at the age of 68yrs old. Our Lord and Savior needed her more in Heaven than on earth. She grew up on Main D.r and attended Tulosos Midway schools growing up. She resided her whole life in Corpus Christi, Texas.

Proceeded in death by her parents Guadalupe E. Carbajal and Josefa G. Carbajal, her brother in law and sister Gilbert and Lydia C. Trigo, her brother Guadalupe Carbajal Jr and her fur baby Shorty.

Cristina leaves behind her husband Prajedes Leal Sr., her daughters, Leticia (Jorge) Tovar, Veronica Perez and Priscilla (Matthew) Gomez, sons Roberto J (Melanie) Rios and Prajedes Leal Jr. She also leaves behind her sisters, Norma C. Delgado and Consuelo C. Vega, her brothers Martin (Raquel) Carbajal &Gilbert (Sandra) Carbajal. Eight grandchildren, Two great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Cristina was a stay at home wife and mother. She loved her kids dearly and had a special bond with each one of them. She loved to go fishing, play bingo and spend time with her grandchildren, when she had enough energy to do so. She spent her younger self painting her nails, doing her hair and make-up, making outfits for her kids, exercising, dancing, ppcooking and cleaning. She was a very independent and beautiful woman and she will be missed dearly and never forgotten. Cristina's memory lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Public visitation will begin at 10:30  a.m. on Friday, May 10, 2024 at Guardian funeral home chapel ''B" with a Service to Celebrate Cristina's life to begin at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Seaside Memorial Park cemetery at 2:30 p.m.
