Courtney Koren Sandoval was born April 13, 1989 at Parkland Hospital in Dallas TX, she was a beautiful light to everyone around her and she will be greatly missed.

December 31st, 2023 our beloved daughter, granddaughter, sister, cousin, aunt and friend Courtney Koren Sandoval was tragically taken from us. She was only 34 years old and a lifetime resident of Corpus Christi, TX.

Courtney's biggest love in her life was her family and friends. She was always ready to lend a hand or ear to someone in need. She was loyal no matter the cost and you could always count on her to be there; day or night she would drop everything and come running. She was fearless, possessing a strength of will that allowed her to push through even the toughest of times, and she was always happy to share it with others.

Courtney brightened every room she walked into. Her presence was a force that few could ignore and so many admired. Her signature red hair was symbolic of that fiery spirit. She had an endless energy that couldn't be matched and a heart as big as Texas. Her beautiful smile and boisterous laugh were infectious. Allowing everyone around her to share in her joy.

An avid lover of the beach, Courtney would often drive down to the water to enjoy the view and soak up the sun. Her tradition every year for her birthday was to spend a weekend down by the ocean enjoying time with family and friends. Her passion for the arts inspired her to attend a variety of events through her life. From concerts to museums, to watching plays at the local theater; Courtney never missed an opportunity to share and revel in these moments with her loved ones. She had an enthusiasm for life and everything it had to offer, and she wanted to experience it all.

Courtney was a devout Christian. Her unyielding faith in God and her love for Him guided her throughout her life. She was always ready to speak on her beliefs with others; to be a guide and mentor in the ways of Jesus Christ. Though she will be missed deeply, her family and friends take comfort in knowing that she is loved and at peace in the Kingdom of Heaven.

We will be honoring Courtney with a Celebration of Life on January 13th 11AM at Venture Church on 3401 S Alameda Corpus Christi, TX. 78411 She is survived by her grandparents Ray and Maria Milstead loving mother and father Raquel and Ben Sandoval, her sister and nephew Briana and Oliver Sandoval, her brother and fiancé Benny Sandoval and Jessica Ortiz her uncle Robert Solis, her aunt and uncle Crystal and Roger Banks, and her nephew and niece Andrew and Emily Banks.
