Consuelo Franco came into this world on February 20 th , 1950, and departed Sunday, February 20 th , 2022, at the age of 72.  She was born in Corpus Christi, Texas. Her passions included dancing, cooking, spending time at the beach and being surrounded by her family and friends, while enjoying eating and laughing. She met the love of her life in high school in 1965 and married him in 1969. They shared a great love and made many beautiful memories together with the family they created. Consuelo Franco will be sorely missed by her family and those who were close to her.

She is preceded in death by her father Juan Flores, mother Gloria Mireles, and sisters Sylvia and Esparanza.

She is survived by husband of 53 years Jose P. Franco, her first born son Joey (Angie) Franco II., Carlos (Kina) Franco Sr., Marcos (Shawnna) Franco, and only daughter Maricella Franco.  Grandchildren; Joe III, Payne, Trinity, Jake, Carlos Jr., Gabriella, Nicholaus, Paulina, Abigail, Skylar, Rich, Desiree, Hailey, Marcos II., Sabian, Lazareth, Fheonix, Meridian, Kayla, Shawn, Lexi, and Maxine. As well as 17 great grandchildren.

The family will receive condolences on Monday, February 28, 2022 , starting at 10am with family visitation, public visitation starting at 11am, Rosary at 12 noon, Service at 12:30 pm. Services will be held at Guardian Funeral Home 5922 Crosstown, Corpus Christi, TX 78417.  The procession will follow after mass to the Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery at 9974 IH 37 Access Road, Corpus Christi, TX 78409.
