Connie Mae Mathis Doggett was born on May 14, 1962 and went to be with the Lord on July 11, 2024. She was 62 years old and lived with her daughter in Sandia, Texas.

Preceded in death by her Father, Glen L. Mathis Sr., two brothers, Glen L. Mathis, Jr. and Donald H. Mathis.

Connie is survived by her husband, Jesse Doggett; Mother, Frankie Elizabeth Mathis; daughter, Stacey Elizabeth Rich (Wes); four sons, Micheal Justin Faulkner (Melissa), Eric Daniel Faulkner (Krystal), Allan Brent Faulkner (Latoya), and Shae Doggett; brother, Jeffery Mathis (Karen); and sister, Glenda Mathis.

Connie loved her family. Her grandchildren were the apple of her eyes. She has thirteen grandchildren; Felicity and Jazmyn Faulkner, Nathan and Brittany Powers; Madalynn Allen, Desiree, Alyssa, Gillian, and Rylee Rich; Demonte and Josh Byrd, Jaden Montford, and Logan Rush; three great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Connie was born in Birmingham, Alabama but grew up in Northport, Alabama. She moved to Corpus Christi, Texas in November of 1984. Connie loved fishing and hanging out at the beach. She enjoyed crafting, especially during the holidays, with her best friend, Angela Smith. She had a passion for her fur babies and Alabama Football.

There will be visitation for her Texas family at Guardian Funeral Home on Sunday, July 14, 2024 at 1:00 p.m.

There will be a Celebration of Life for Connie for her Alabama family and friends at a later date.
