Obituary

Concepcion A. Gonzalez, lovingly known as "Concha", passed away February 3, 2025, at the age of 85. Concha was born November 8, 1939, to Anselmo and Matilde Gonzalez. She was raised in Rio Grande City, TX. Concha was greeted at the gates of heaven by her parents and siblings and now is resting with them in heaven.

Concha worked for Trailways Bus Company and Greyhound Racetrack. Her most important role was that of being a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. Concha had many hobbies, she will be remembered not only for the life she lived, but for the lives she touched. To those who knew her and even those who didn't, her legacy of love and devotion to God will endure.

Concha was truly an Angel on earth, and while she will be deeply missed, her spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who were blessed to know her. She had many titles, Ma, Mamo, Grandma, to name a few, as she will be remembered by the love of nurturing of taking care of her babies, including the ones she helped raise.

Left to mourn her passing and to cherish her beautiful memories are her only son Daniel Martin Gonzales, her precious daughter-in-law, Beatrice Almeida Gonzales, her grandson, Daniel Dennis Gonzales, whom she loved dearly with the love of her life, her beautiful granddaughter,  Nycole Danielle Gonzales. Also, Jaelynn Garza, a special little girl she loved so much.
