Obituary

Clementina Diaz Herrera, 92, of Corpus Christi, Texas and formerly of Bowling Green, Ohio, passed peacefully into the presence of the Lord on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

Clementina D. Herrera was born on April 24, 1934, in Harlingen, Texas, to Heriberto Leon Diaz and Rosa Vasquez Diaz. She was a faithful Christian woman, devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend whose life reflected her deep love for God and family. With the Lord as her guide, protector and provider, she walked through life with grace, compassion, and enduring faith.

Her family was her greatest blessing and the center of her heart. Her life was a beautiful example of love, devotion and quiet strength.

Clementina is preceded in death by her husband, Guadalupe L. Herrera; one son, Miguel (Mike) Herrera; two grandchildren, Ruben Daniel Herrera and Joshua Herrera; and one brother, Moises V. Gonzales (Virginia).

Clementina is survived by her Children: Carlos Herrera (Maria), Benito Herrera, Daniel Herrera, Julian Herrera (Olivia), Antonio Herrera, and Elizabeth Vara (Marcelino Jr.).
