Obituary

D IAZ, Christopher James "KRS JAMES", age 40, earned his wings on Friday March 4, 2022.

Christopher was born on March 30, 1981, in Corpus Christi, Texas to the late Ruben and Christine Diaz.
He attended Roy Miller High School and was in the graduating class of 1999. While in high school, Christopher participated in Football, Basketball and Baseball, as he was a huge sports fan. His favorite sports teams were the Dallas Cowboys, the Texas Rangers and The San Antonio Spurs.
Christopher was full of PASSION and the one thing he was most passionate about was MUSIC. Christophers love for music was immense and he was full of ridiculous talent. He could absorb any instrumental and in a heartbeat spit out the most flowing lyrics off the top of his head. Christopher was unstoppable with his writing. He filled notebooks with songs that he was so proud of and was happiest when he was performing his songs for his family and friends. Holding the mic had him on a different level.

Christopher was a loving son, brother, uncle and a great friend to any and all who knew him. He was big on family & even bigger on forgiveness. Christopher was never one to hold a grudge and would be the first to offer the shirt off his back for anyone who needed it. If you were his friend, he had your back. Always.
Christopher was blessed with a large family and so many friends. He loved to spend time with everyone as much as he could and was quick to fire up the pit for a gathering. He loved his nieces and nephews to the fullest and loved life. He was humorous, loving, kind, spontaneous and his laugh was infectious. Christopher will be tremendously missed by everyone.

Christopher is survived by his mother, Christine (Raymond Lucio); his sisters Valarie (Dennis Chapa) and Jayme (Albert Ruiz.) His nieces; Alyssah Ruff, Zaida Diaz, Arianna Ruff, Leanna Ruiz and nephews; Aaron Ruff and Noah Willars and his paternal grandmother; Manuela Diaz. He was cherished by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins who love him as a brother.
Christopher is preceded in death by his father, Ruben Diaz, his maternal grandparents; Jose and Sofia Borrego and paternal grandfather; Nasario Diaz and his Uncle Benito Fuentes and cousins; Marisol Ruiz, Reynaldo Diaz Jr. and Nasario Diaz III.
