Obituary
Christina G. Luera, 53, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 12, 2013 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in San Antonio, Texas on June 11, 1960 to Manuel Lugo Garcia and Nicolasa Contreras Garcia who preceded her in death.
Also preceded in death by sisters, Gloria Cruz and Manuela Good, a brother, Alberto Garcia and a grandson, Ernest Rene Garcia.
She was a housewife, and she really enjoyed music, cooking, baking, dancing and was a very caring & loving wife, mom, grandma & sister. She attended Texas Adult Daycare. Christina had a passion for Truck Driving especially 18 wheelers.
She is survived by her husband, Jose M. Bazan, her children, Ernest (Naydeen) Ruiz, Sandra (Cesar) Barajas, Sara (Joe) De Los Santos, and Carlos Ruiz, seventeen grandchildren, sisters and brothers, Delia (Tomas) Gomez, Angelita (Maximo) Lucio, Jr., Ricardo Garcia, Eva Morin, Connie (Hector) Cruz, Nora Salazar and Armelinda Cisneros.
Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m., Monday, December 16, 2013 at Guardian funeral home chapel B with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that evening. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at Guardian funeral home chapel B. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens cemetery
