Christina Gonzalez, aged 47, passed away on October 31, 2024. Born on July 30, 1977, in Corpus Christi, Texas, she was the cherished daughter of Roberto G. Gonzalez and Delia Perez.

Christina was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend to many. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, her mother Dalia Gonzalez, and her sister Priscilla Yvette Gonzalez.

Christina had a passion for life and enjoyed going to the beach, listening to Tejano music, and dancing. She worked as a wedding and quinceañera planner and also as a front desk receptionist at a hotel. Her favorite food was carne asado tacos, and she loved dining at Butterchurn. Christina enjoyed watching cooking shows, loved people and children, and adored her three turtles and dog Mikey. She had a wonderful sense of humor and dreamed of getting another dog to name Sombrero.

She loved traveling to San Antonio, dining at Mi Tierra Restaurant, and visiting the zoo. Christina was infatuated with nature, loved fishing, camping, barbecuing, and cooking. She cherished family functions and holidays, with Christmas being her favorite.

Christina is survived by her father Robert Sr, her husband Emmett, her siblings Robert Jr. and Margarita (Luciano), her children Alexa and Maria, and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins whom she adored.

Public Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at Guardian Funeral Home with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m. that evening.
