Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Christina Castillo, beloved daughter, mother, sister, and friend, who departed this life on September 21, 2025, in her hometown of Corpus Christi, Texas. Christina was born on October 5, 1970, and lived a life filled with love, laughter, and generosity.

Christina was the cherished daughter of Jose and Janie Castillo, who instilled in her the values of hard work and kindness. She was immensely proud of her family and loved them fiercely. Christina is survived by her two beautiful children, Adrianna Garza and Felicity Rodriguez, who were the light of her life. She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren, Roman and Romeo Garza, who brought her endless joy.

Christina was a dedicated member of her family, and her spirit lives on through her siblings: Eva Castillo, Ruben Castillo (Esmi), Becky Robert's (Steve), and Monica McMillan (Bryan). Each of them carries cherished memories of Christina, who was known for her beautiful smile, infectious laugh, and vibrant personality.

A proud graduate of Tuloso-Midway High School, Christina embraced life with a passion that was truly remarkable. She had an adventurous spirit and a love for life that was evident in everything she did. Football season was her favorite time of year, often filled with spirited gatherings and game-day celebrations. Christina loved to cruise with the music turned up loud, feeling the wind in her hair and the freedom of the open road. Beach trips were another favorite pastime, where she created lasting memories with those she loved.

Her friends and family remember her as someone who was always dressed to impress, smelling wonderful and radiating glam. Christina had a unique ability to make others feel welcomed and cherished, known for her exceptional hospitality during her time as a waitress. She had a heart full of compassion, always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need.

Yet, beneath her glamorous exterior lay a firecracker attitude; her motto was, "Don't start nothing, there won't be nothing." She was a strong woman who faced life's challenges with resilience and courage.

Christina's legacy is one of love, laughter, and unforgettable moments. She touched the lives of everyone who knew her and will be profoundly missed by her family and friends. A private funeral service will be held to honor her life, allowing her loved ones to celebrate the beautiful soul that she was.

As we remember Christina Castillo, let us carry forward her spirit of kindness, her passion for life, and her unwavering love for family. May her memory be a blessing to all who had the privilege of knowing her.
