On Wednesday, the first of September 2021, in Corpus Christi, TX, our dearest mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and sister was carried gently into Jesus' arms to her last and heavenly home. We celebrate her life that she lived to fullest, born in Hildago County to Alejandro and Raquel Deleon. Christina attended Corpus Christi High School and worked for many years at Boatners in Corpus Christi, TX. Christina is preceded in death by her husbands Gilbert Barrios Sr. and Daniel Grande; her parents Alejandro and Raquel, brother Herman, and sister Imelda. Mourning Christina is her sister Grace Deleon, her three sons Gilbert Barrios , Jr., Alejandro Barrios and Martin (Connie) Barrios , 11 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Christina loved thrifting and garage selling on the weekends, hanging out at family Bbqs spending time with family. She enjoyed taking family vacations and traveling. Playing games with her grandchildren and having family get togethers always made her smile; her outgoing personality always giving the family something to laugh about or to be shocked by. She was a fancy lady always dolled up and ready to go - she lived her life for today and was never going to miss an opportunity to make memories.

A Rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, September 9, 2021 at Guardian funeral home chapel.  Funeral Mass will be Celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 10, 2021 at Saint Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens cemetery.
