Charlotte Ann Washington, 73 of Corpus Christi, Texas passed away on the evening of October 30 ^th surrounded by her family. She was born on September 18, 1947 to Lola Alford and Alonzo Lee.

She graduated from Solomon Coles High School in 1965 before attending Del Mar College. She was married for 48 years to Henry Washington Sr. Charlotte was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend.

Charlotte enjoyed reading, watching her favorite football team, the Green Bay Packers, and fishing with the love her life, Henry. She will always be remembered for her bright personality and memorable storytelling.

Charlotte is preceded in death by her husband Henry Sr., her parents Lola & Earl Alford, Sr. and Alonzo Lee, sister Yvonne Jenkins, brother Stanley Alford Sr., parental grandparents David Lee Sr. & Harriett Johnson, maternal grandparents Lennus Brooks & Daisy M. Robinson.

She is survived by her only two children, Henry Washington Jr. and Angela Denise Washington; grandchildren Jordan Brantley and Treasure Washington; two sisters Gwendolyn Chargois and Rita Lewis; one brother Earl Alford Jr.; along with her loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Visitations will be Friday, November 6, 2020 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2020 at 10:00 am with the burial to follow at Colorado Chapel Cemetery in Utley, Texas with Pastor Casey Waites officiating.

Pallbearers are Stanley Alford Jr., Eugene Ellis, Malachi Flores, Xavier Johnson Sr., Christopher Lewis, Jimmy Ramos. Honorary Pallbearers are Jose Garcia, Timothy Moore, Josh Smith, Anthony White.
