Charlotte Delores (De Los Santos) Davis gracefully passed away in her home December 9, 2018 at the age of 83. She was inundated with love and affection from many friends and numerous family members leading up to her final moments.
She is survived by her five children Francis (Margret) Davis of Fulda Germany, Joseph (Imelda) Davis of Corpus Christi TX, Maxine (Ron) Bell of Corpus Christi TX, Nathan (Gloria) Davis of Colorado Springs CO. and Denise (Tommy) Dicus of Corpus Christi, TX as well as seven grandchildren ten great grandchildren and a multitude of beloved friends and cherished extended family members from various parts of the country and spread throughout the world.
She leaves to carry her legacy, her precious grandchildren and great grandchildren, Julie (Sebastian) Fischer and their children Malisa and Kevin, of Fulda Germany; Mary (Elio) Candiano, and their children Francisco, Giuliano and Chiara, of Fulda Germany; Charlotte (Chris) Perez, of Corpus Christi, TX; Adam (Lisa) Davis, Whitefish, MT and their children Zoe and Joseph; Andee (Kyle) Reid, of Phoenix AZ; Shane (Kelsey) McGill and his children Dylan and Brianna, of Corpus Christi TX; Elizabeth (Robbie) Gross, of Rockville, MD and their child Zach.
She attended Corpus Christi High School until 1953. Shortly thereafter, she married into a military lifestyle and traveled throughout the United States with her growing family. She settled in her hometown of Corpus Christi, where raising her five children and caring for her elderly parents, became her full time profession. In her golden years, she indulged in an independent lifestyle wherein she created a haven for herself in a tastefully decorated home filled with treasured memories and elegant collections. She took great pride in a neat and organized home, noted in her final days by her hospice caregivers.
The family wishes to give special thanks to the Nurses on Wheels and the providers of The Visiting Angels for the special care and attention they gave during her final days.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, December 17, with a Memorial Service to begin at 11 a.m. at Guardian Funeral Home.
