Charles Glenn Smith, better known as Chuck to his family, was born on May 11th, 1974 and left this world on June 8th, 2025 at 51 years of age in Corpus Christie, Texas. Chuck was born in Wichita Falls, Texas, but during his childhood he traveled the country and lived around the world through the Air Force with his family. This experience created a sense of wanderlust–producing a vibrant soul who loved traveling, hiking, camping, and spending time with his family and friends. He especially enjoyed any opportunity he had to be with his nephew and nieces. He took great pride in being able to help anyone he met. Despite his constant traveling, Chuck felt as though Texas was his home. He was excited to return to Texas and begin the next chapter in his life. His smile, hugs, and laughter will be missed dearly.

Chuck is preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.

He leaves behind his father Colonel Frankie and Nancy Smith; sister, Toni Cox, her husband Thad and their daughter Skyler; and his brother, Major Stephen Smith, his wife Stephanie and their daughters, Camryn and Brenna. As well as, his mother Janet and Bob Smith; his brother Officer Bobby Smith, his wife Erica and their daughters Brittany and Baliegh; and his brother Brian Smith, and his children Caden and Chloe.
