Charles David Feely passed away on December 13, 2021. He was 91. Charles was born on August 4, 1930 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Alfred Feely and Mable Chickern.
Charles was enlisted in the United States Army on November 13, 1950 in Desmoines, Iowa and was sent to Ft. Leonard Wood in Missouri for basic training. Charles served in the Army for 3 years and was Honorably Discharged on November 23, 1953.
Some of Charles hobbies include going on trail rides, fishing, and race cars. Charles once flipped his race truck at age of 80 years old! He was also a master plumber and loved to work on crafts that included building his own home.
Charles is preceded in death by his parents Alfred Feely and Mable Chickern, his wife Edith Feely, his sons Michael Hardy and Charles Feely, and his sister Barbara Webster.
He is survived by his brother Lt. Col. Patrick D.(Bonnie) Feely, his daughters Beverly Haggerton, Linda(Steve) Smith, Gloria Allen, and Mary Evans, his son Sean Feely, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews and neices.
There will be a graveside service on December 27th at the Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery at 2pm and there will be a gathering at 302 Clearview following right after.
