Early Life & Career
Throughout her life, Cenaida spent many years working in the housekeeping industry,
where she met people across the country and formed lifelong friendships. In her later
working years, she was employed at a senior assisted living center, where she grew to love
playing bingo with everyone. What began as a workplace activity soon turned into a lasting
passion that continued long after she retired.
Upon entering retirement, Cenaida truly enjoyed being cared for and surrounded by the
love of her children.
Personal Life & Interests
Cenaida was deeply devoted to keeping up with current events, particularly politics. She
was a strong supporter of the MAGA movement and faithfully followed Fox News to stay
informed on Donald J. Trump, the 45th and 47th President of the United States.
She enjoyed attending church with her friends and loved antiquing, always searching for
treasures that reminded her of earlier days. When she walked into the bingo hall, she did so
with confidence, always saying, "We are winning tonight."
Cenaida loved playing poker anytime, anywhere, especially during the holidays, and she
never traveled without her beloved poker jar. She enjoyed visiting her son and daughter-in-
law in Lake Charles, where she could gamble at L'Auberge Casino. She also loved scratching
Texas Lottery tickets, always hopeful for the big jackpot.
Above all, Cenaida cherished time with her family. She loved people-watching from the
window or sitting on the front porch in her rocker.
