Celia R. Elizondo, went to be with our Lord and Savior on February 28, 2016. Celia was born on September 19, 1944 in Zapata, Texas to Mr. Adrian Ramirez and Celia Gonzalez Ramirez. Celia retired from Corpus Christi ISD with 26 years of service as a Cafeteria Manager. Celia is preceded in death by her parents and brother Jaime Ramirez. She is survived by her husband Abel J. Elizondo, daughter, Maribel (Wesley) Bocanegra, sons, Abel J.(Cindy) Elizondo Jr., Jorge Elizondo, brother, Buddy (Anna) Ramirez, sisters, Rosa (Modesto) Buentello, Sylvia (Lalo) Mendoza, and four(4) grandchildren.
A Holy Rosary will be recited at Guardian Funeral Home on Wednesday March 2, 2016 at 7:00 p.m., the family will start accepting visitors at 5:00 p.m.. A Funeral Mass celebrating the life of Celia will be on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Pius Catholic Church with interment to follow at the Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery.
