Obituary
Cecile Elizabeth Stewart went home to be with the Lord and Savior on November 14, 2018.
Cecile was born August 6, 1921 in Lyford, Texas to Thomas King and Mary Alice Keene. Her grandparents, the H. H. Keenes, were among the first settlers of Lyford, Texas.
She later moved to Corpus Christi, Texas where she lived with her husband Jack Hinnant.
Following Jack's death she moved to Harlingen, Texas where she lived and worked as a bank teller in Harlingen National Bank until she retired then later moved to Corpus Christi.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Jack and her parents. She is survived by her sons Reginald K. Hinnant and wife Barbara, Tommy Stovall and wife Karen, 5 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and 4 great, great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at 2:00pm in the Reid Chapel and Mausoleum-Seaside Cemetery, 4357 Ocean Dr. Corpus Christi, Texas.
In lieu of flowers a memorial donation may be made to the charity of choice.
The family would like to extend special thanks to Corpus Christi Nursing and Rehabilitation and Harbor Hospice for their loving care and compassion .
