Catherine (Cathy) Sievers, 66 years old of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed on November 5, 2026 in Corpus Christi, Texas. After a brave and courageous 8 year battle with cancer, she was finally called to rest. Born on May 12, 1960 in Houston, Texas to Paul and Ann Waldner. Cathy lived a full and vibrant life. Married to Larry Sievers on August 23, 1980, they were lucky enough to spend 46 happy years together. Cathy was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, and friend. She never hesitated to be there for anyone that needed it and will be missed by all. 

Survived by husband Larry, children Emily and Mitch, siblings Cece, Maggie, Mary, TJ, Larry and John, and Mother-in-Law Ruby.

Preceded in death by parents Paul and Ann, and siblings Paul and Wes.

Service information: A small viewing/service will be held at Guardian Funeral Home in Corpus Christi, Tx (5922 Crosstown Access Rd, Corpus Christi, TX 78417) on Tuesday November 10th , 2026 at 3pm. Followed by a reception and celebration at Galilean Lutheran Church ( 3321 Cimarron Blvd, Corpus Christi, TX 78414) from 4:30-6:30 pm on the same day.

Family asks that in lieu of flowers you make a donation in Cathy’s name to the American Cancer Society or to your favorite animal rescue.
