Carole L. Quijas-Kirkham
Corpus Christi , TX
Entered into eternal rest on Monday, June 17, 2013 at the age of 31. She was born in Austin, Texas on July 11, 1981 and was raised in Corpus Christi, Texas on North Beach. She attended Monteclaire Elementary and Cullen Middle schools in Corpus Christi and graduated in 2000 from Ritenour High School in St. Louis, Missouri.
Carol had a love for music and dancing and always had a big smile. She will greatly missed by all her family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her grandmothers, Cecilia Quijas and Carole Louise Fanning, grandfather, James Norman Ritchey, her uncles, Jesus and Manny Quijas, Jamie Ritchey and Larry Troyan, her aunt and godmother Norma Quijas-Holder and cousin Ray Allen Cullum Jr.
Carol leaves behind her husband, Gary Kirkham of Rockdale, Texas, her parents, Cheryl Ritchey (Richard), Ramon Quijas (Darlene), brothers, Eli Quijas (Erica) and Dominic Quijas (Yvette), nieces, Constance and Cerene Quijas and nephews, Isaiah, Joseph, Justus and Malick Quijas all of Corpus Christi, Texas. She is also survived by numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and many friends.
A Memorial Service will be held at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church on Saturday, June 29, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. Interment of her ashes will follow at Seaside Cemetery Mausoleum.
