Carol A. Yocum, 79, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, January 5, 2019 surrounded by family. She was born in Corpus Christi, Texas to her parents Albert John Simcik, Sr. and Alice Elizabeth Simcik on December 22, 1939.

Carol was preceded in death by her husband Donald F. Yocum; her parents; her son Steven Andrew Hartley; brother Albert (Sonny) Simcik; sister Ruby Jo Lamkin.

Her survivors include her nieces: Sandy Gallops, Sherry Lamkin; nephew Andy Simcik; stepchildren: Rena Rittgers and Don Yocum; grandchildren: Ashley Yocum, Derek Rittgers, Misty Miller; great-grandchildren: Jule, Jaden, Jaxon, Chariah, Eric, Clara, Ethan; numerous cousins and friends.

Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. Saturday, January 12 at Guardian Funeral Home with a Celebration of Life to be held at 3 p.m.
