Carol Tjon-A-Joe
Corpus Christi, TX
Carol Tjon-A-Joe, 53, passed away Sunday, August 11, 2013 at Angel Bright Hospice in Corpus Christi, Texas after a long battle with cancer. Carol was originally from Dubuque, Iowa. Carol enjoyed her career as a NICU nurse at Driscoll Children's Hospital. Carol cherished all her coworkers and loved working with the babies.
Carol is survived by her son's Neal and Stuart Tjon-A-Joe; parents Gilbert and Maureen Billmeyer; sisters Mary Beth Rupert and Colleen Martens and brothers Tom and Rick Billmeyer.
Services will be held on Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at 2:00pm at Waldron Road Baptist Church, 2042 Waldron Road, Corpus Christi, TX 78418
The family wishes to thank all of those who cared for her during her illness. Flowers may be sent to Waldron Road Baptist Church or in lieu of flowers memorial donations may be sent in her name to donate.cancer.org.
