Candelario Luna Vasquez 'Candy Man', was welcomed by our Heavenly Father, January 24, 2014. He was born December 3, 1945 to Jose G. and Paula L. Vasquez. Cande was extremely proud of serving his country in the United States Marine Corps, including two tours of duty in Vietnam earning the rank of Sergeant.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his twin brother Jose and brothers David and Daniel.

Cande is survived by his children Jose (Rhiannon), Norma (Jesse) Rodriguez, Candelario (Candy), Ramon (Lisa), eight grandchildren, brothers, Juan (Estella), Arturo (Irene), sisters, Matilde (Jesus) Salas, Guadalupe (Ernesto) Salazar, Gloria Ramirez, Gracie (Arthur) Garcia, Rosario (Jaime) Rodriguez, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church St. Jude Chapel 3502 Saratoga Blvd. Corpus Christi at 09:30 a.m. Thursday January 30,2014 and inurnment to follow at the Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery 9974 IH 37 Access Rd. Corpus Christi, Texas
