Caleb Solaman Martinez,17, was unexpectedly and regretfully taken from this world in the early hours of Saturday, February 19, 2022.

Born to Monica Martinez and Hector Suniga Sr. on November 2, 2004, Caleb is survived by his siblings Christian, Atley and Mia Martinez; and Heavenly and Hesper Suniga; daughter Luna Martinez; and a large and loving extended family.  He was preceded in death by his loving grandmother Priscilla Martinez (Mimi) and brother Hector Suniga Jr.

Caleb enjoyed playing video games and in his free time he participated in food drives, donating his free time to those in need.  He had previously worked in an apprenticeship program with the Corpus Christi Housing Authority where he enjoyed the work ethic the apprenticeship was teaching him and he found satisfaction in his work.

Our family was not expecting the loss of Caleb or for his life to be cut so short so soon. We are devastated by this loss and will feel the absence of Caleb forever. He was a most loving and peaceful soul and a joy to be around. He will be forever missed.

Public visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. Friday, March 4, 2022 at Guardian Funeral Home Chapel A with a Service to be held at 6:30 p.m.
