Bonifaye "Bonnie" Dunbar, 66, entered eternal Paradise on December 28, 2024. She was born on October 23, 1958, to Alton Evans and Ruby Turner in Rockport, Texas.

After graduating high school, she continued her education and graduated from Texas Woman's University receiving degrees as an RN and Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

She married the love of her life, John Dunbar on June 2, 1979, and had a beautiful daughter, Erica.

Bonnie worked as a Pediatric Nurse at Spohn Shoreline Hospital (Neonatal), before being permanently disabled. She moved to Denton for 3 years but returned to Corpus Christi till her passing. She had also been a devoted member of Kings Crossing Church of Christ.

She is preceded in death by her parents Alton and Ruby Turner.

Bonnie is survived by her husband John, daughter Erica and brother Wade Evans.

She was very well loved by her patients and will always be remembered for how kind and professional she was.

Bonnie will be dearly missed but we are at peace knowing she got a ticket straight to Jesus.
