Bobby Ray Conner, 67, went home to be with the Lord on April 30, 2016. He was born on October 8, 1948 in Pasadena, Texas. Bobby served his country proudly in the U.S. Army, and also served proudly as a Corpus Christi Police officer. He was a member of International S.C.U.B.A. Divers Association, Masonic Lodge #189, U.S. Army Reserves, Association member of Law Enforcement commission, and he served in several of the C.C.P.D. departments. Some of his other interest includes, Scuba diving, fishing, hunting, and camping. Bobby was always on his Harley Davidson and loved to ride. He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Rosy Villarreal Conner, his mother, Ernestine Conner, and his father, Lee Ray Clinard, his uncle, Jack McFerrin, sister, Mildred Conner of Pearland, Texas, sister, Cheryl Hartzendorf, niece, Hayley Hartzendorf, several in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, and his special K-9 companion Rascal Ray. The Conner Family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 4, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Guardian funeral home chapel "B". Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 5, 2016 at Guardian funeral home chapel. Interment with Military Honors will follow at Memory Gardens cemetery.
