Bobby Wayne Ballard Sr., a loving family man and entrepreneur, passed away July 24, 2016. He was 74.

Born March 10, 1942, to Mr. and Mrs. B.C. Ballard, Bobby was raised in Bismarck, Arkansas, where he took to the football field with his fellow Bismarck High School Lions. After graduating high school, Bobby enlisted and served proudly in the U.S. Navy.
On January 16, 1964, Bobby married the love of his life, Linda. Together they raised five children. Bobby was employed by Corpus Christi Army Depot, T-Com, Metrocall Paging, and Calvin Patrick Real Estate before eventually opening a flower shop with his wife – Smiles With Flowers.
Bobby will always be remembered for his generosity and love of life, and the countless smiles he brought to everyone's faces.
Preceded in death by his parents; brother, Bill Ballard; sister, Juanita Venable; daughter, Gina DeLynn Ballard; grandson, Bobby W. Ballard III. Survived by his wife, Linda G. Ballard; sons, Bobby W. Jr. Gary (Kristi), Ryan, and Brandon (Nicole); brother, Glenn Ballard of Tennessee; 14 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A rosary will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, July 28th, at Guardian Funeral Home. The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Guardian Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Rose Hill Cemetery.
