Obituary

Betty Jean Barker was born May 9, 1933 to Germaine and Zeke Reynolds in McAllen, TX.
She passed peacefully in her home in Corpus Christi on September 6, 2022.

She is survived by her children: Valerie Wicker, Jeffrey Wicker, Chuck Little, Dayna Ansley, and Buddy Little (pre-deceased): as well as 9 grandchildren.

Betty grew up in a loving and happy household with her parents, and brother, Alfred (pre-deceased).
She was involved in several High School extracurricular activities, playing clarinet in the band and, of course, was voted Band Sweetheart.

Betty ran a loving and caring household in the house she still lived in since 1959. She taught Piano lessons for many years, was an accomplished seamstress making really cool clothes for Valerie and Jeff, and filled the walls in her home with beautiful Oil Paintings that she did.
Her occupations included being the best southern cook in South Texas as well as an office assistant at Yaeger Elementary and as a Real Estate Agent.

Betty was a longtime beloved member of St. Lukes United Methodist Church since 1959 through the present. She was a lifelong Choir member and a devoted Christian in the Methodist faith.

Betty was preceded in death by husbands Jim G Wicker, Ralph Little, and Jerry Harrison, respectively.

Services for Betty will be held at 11:00 am in the Chapel at St. Lukes United Methodist Church on 3151 Reid Dr., Corpus Christi, TX 78404. A Reception will follow in the Moore Hall facility. Saturday, September 17, 2022.
