Bertha R. Saenz, 53, went to be with the Lord on May 5, 2017. She was a loving aunt, great-aunt, cousin, daughter, and sister. She didn't have any children of her own but was very involved in the lives of her nieces, nephews, cousins, great-nieces, and great-nephews. She was always the life of the party, joking around and making people laugh; everyone loved to be around her. She loved music; she recently celebrated her 53rd birthday in which her favorite singer Gary Hobbs performed for her. She is now dancing with the angels to the music in Heaven. She was loved so much and will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Bertha was preceded in death by her father, Juan G. Saenz and brother, Juan Saenz Jr. She is survived by her mother, Ester R. Saenz, three sisters, Amelia Saenz-Flores, Angie Carrillo (Juan), and Norma (Tony) Garza, brother, Ysidoro (E-Z) Saenz, and seven nieces and nephews; Conrado Garcia (Pat), Andres (Debbie) Flores, Amanda Flores (Isaac) Perez, Samantha (Patrick) Whelan, Selena Saenz, and Emmanuel Saenz, and eleven great-nieces and nephews, and a lot of cousins and friends.
A Holy Rosary will be recited at 10:30 a.m. followed by a Memorial Mass at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 11, 2017 at Holy Family Catholic church, 2509 Nogales/MacArthur.
