Benny Barrera, 45 years of age passed away on Sunday July 21, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. He graduated from Foy H. Moody high school.

He was a certified painter at Rodriguez Auto Service& Collision for many years.
He was a die-hard 49ers football fan and enjoyed fishing.
He was the life of the party. He loved socializing with family & friends, and we loved him for his compassionate ways and his caring heart,
If you knew him, you would have him as a friend for life.
He always knew how to make you smile and make you laugh.
His warm presence and joyful spirit will be profoundly missed by all the lives he touched.

He is preceded death by his Father Benjamin Barrera (Benny). His grandparents Geronimo & Maria Salazar.
His uncles Geronimo (Pache) & Rene Salazar & his aunts Olga Longoria, Delia Salazar.

Benny is survived by his mother Mary Duenes & stepdad Robert Duenes.
His siblings Eric, Anthony, & Lorraine Barrera, Andrew & Aaron Duenes. His grandparents Benjamin & Esperanza Barrera. Also, uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews & cousins which he loves.

Public visitation will begin at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 25, 2024 at Guardian funeral home chapel with an Evening service to be held at 6:30 p.m. followed by shared memories.

Visitation will continue on Friday, July 26, 2024 at Guardian funeral home starting at 9:00 a.m. with the Funeral Service to begin at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
