Benjamin John Eilermann fought a long and valiant battle with cancer, ending the war on Saturday, October 14, 2017. He was 38 years old, born to Harold Edward Eilermann, Jr. and Linda Marie Eilermann (LeRoy) on November 17, 1978. The Eilermann family had established the first trucking company west of the Mississippi and was well established in St. Louis Society. Ben moved with his parents to Corpus Christi, Texas, at the age of two, where he resided at the time of his death.
Ben was a proud father to Kayla Marie Eilermann and Lilly Skye Eilermann. His world revolved around his girls, as a single father he took his responsibilities to heart and did all he could to raise two fine young ladies.
Ben enlisted in the Air Force in 1997, serving at Langley and Lackland AFB, with deployments throughout the world. He was so proud that his daughter, Kayla, followed his footsteps by joining the Air Force and serving in AMMO.
Ben is best known as a man who would do anything for his friends. He was kind, compassionate and an absolute JOKER! His home was full of friends having fun and enjoying life. Ben had a smile that would light the world, and you needed sunglasses in his presence.
Ben is preceded in death by his father, Harold (Tad) Eilermann, step-father, Michael Snyder, maternal grandparents, John and Catherine LeRoy, as well as paternal grandparents, Harold and Mona Pauline Eilermann.
Please join his mother, Linda LeRoy, and daughters, Kayla and Lilly, for a celebration of life on Friday, October 20, 2017 Guardian Funeral Home for services. Ben did not want anyone to wear black! Please wear vivid colors of LIFE. Family will begin receiving friends at 12:30 with services at 2:00 pm.
