IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Benito Guadalupe
Tovar
March 21, 1957 – April 15, 2021
It is with a heavy heart that the family of Benito Guadalupe Tovar, 64 announce that on April 15,2021 He was called by our Lord Jesus Christ to a peaceful eternal life. He is proceeded in death by his loving wife, Sara Iris Tovar. He is survived by His Mother, Jacinta Lopez Tovar Father, Juan Manuel Tovar, His Children; Mayte de Aguilera, Johnny (Janette) Tovar, Michelle Reyna, Benny Reyna and Grandchildren; Jesus Aguilera, Marcus Aguilera, Brooklyn Reyna and His Brothers and Sisters who he cared for dearly.
Benito or "Benny" how everyone knew him was born in the Camargo Tamaulipas Mexico on March 21, 1957. He spent his childhood years in His Family's Ranch in Reynosa Tamaulipas Mexico. Growing up he took care of not only livestock and crops, but also his brothers and sisters. It was in Reynosa where he met his wife, Sara Iris Tovar, whom he married on May 20, 1975.
He would have different jobs, even as a Cook in McAllen, TX. Throughout his life he embarked on a few business ventures, like Benny's Garage and BG Wrecker Service. Benny always loved being the life of the party with his heart-warming smile and his silly jokes. He touched many hearts and made many friends. He would start a conversation with anyone and made them his friend. He was a romantic and loving person but a real rebel who would love hunting and having a good time with good friends. He was strict and stern with his family, with a purpose of trying to raise them to be their best. Even though, He was brought up to not show feelings, deep down he always cared for them. After the passing of His Wife in 2015, he would spend some time alone until He met Olga Dehoyos. She brought Him love and happiness until His last breath.
He was a great teacher, not only to his Children but to his friends and family as well. He was truly wise and had a giant heart, always willing to help in every way possible. He was a great treasure to all who knew him and we ask all his friends and family to remember the great and fun person he was.
Public visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 23, 2021 at Guardian funeral home chapel ''A'' with a Service of Celebration to begin at 2:00 p.m.
