Benito Castillo, went to be with the lord August 1, 2014. Benito was born on April 16, 1921 to Mr. and Mrs Miguel and Celestina Castillo. Benito was a World War II Veteran and retired from Brown Express with 40 years. He enjoyed telling his grandchildren his never ending stories.
Benito is preceded in death by his parents and son Benito Castillo Jr.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years Ramona Castillo and there children: David (Jeanette) Najera, Ramona(Keith)Martin, Manuelita (Candellario) Garza, Marcellino (Corina) Najera, Teresa Kirby. 17 Brothers and Sisters, 15 Grandchildren, 43 Great Grandchildren.
Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. at Guardian Funeral Home Tuesday August 5, 2014 and a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that evening and a Funeral Mass on Wednesday August 6, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Pilar Church 1101 Bloomington St. in Corpus Christi with interment to follow at the Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery.
