Bellanira "Bella" De Leon 80, of Corpus Christi, Tx was called to be with her Heavenly Father on July 3, 2016 at Northwest Hospital. Bella was a member of American Legions Auxiliary and Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary. Bella will be remembered as a beloved wife of 57 years, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend. The family appreciates all of the prayers, and support they have received over the past 3 1/2 years while she endured a decline in health. Bella spent her last several years at home with her husband, Baltazar and two sons Bobby and Alberto De Leon. Bella was a very gracious, gentle, caring and thoughtful person, we are thankful to our mother who gave us the best gift a parent can give, love and faith. Mom will be greatly missed but we are grateful to god for having given us such a loving and joyful mother. Bella is survived by a large and loving family. Left to mourn her loss are her husband of 57 years Baltazar De Leon Jr. and her 4 children, Bobby De Leon, Brent (Sandi) De Leon, Alberto De Leon, Baltazar De Leon III and survived by 5 grandkids and 5 great grandkids, 2 brothers and 2 sisters. A Holy Rosary will be recited on Thursday July 7, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. at Guardian Funeral Home, the family will start accepting visitors at 5:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday July 8, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church with interment to follow at the Coastal Bend State Veterans .
