Beatrice H. Lopez, age 84, passed away July 15, 2017 in Corpus Christi, Texas.
She was born on July 29, 1932 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Pedro and Sofia Hernandez Sr. She will be missed dearly by all who knew her and loved her. Beatrice is preceded in death by her son Rosendo Lopez Sr. and our dad Pedro Lopez Sr.
She is survived by her two daughters, Graciela Treviño, and Cristela Oropez; six sons, Juan (Lidia) Lopez, Daniel H. Lopez, Pedro Lopez Jr., Jose A. (Angel) Lopez, Felix (Velma) Lopez, Hector (Rosario) Lopez, all of Corpus Christi, Texas; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Beatrice was well known for her humor, determination, passion to work hard and strong will. She never gave up; always stood her ground! We will miss you dearly mom, love always.
Public Visitation for Beatrice will be held Tuesday, July 25, at Guardian Funeral Home in Chapel A from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that evening. A Chapel Service will take place Wednesday, July 26, at 11:30 a.m. at Guardian Funeral Home with interment to follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park at 1:00 p.m.
