Beatrice Farias Benavides, 59, of Corpus Christi, TX, peacefully passed on Sunday, January 29, 2017. She was born on August 7, 1957 in Corpus Christi, TX. She graduated from Ray High School in 1975, and Del Mar College in 1978.

Beatrice is preceded in death by her parents, Rodolfo and Angela Farias. She is survived by her son, Exiquiel Benavides Jr; daughter, Adriana Danielle Benavides; grandson, Exiquiel Benavides III; brother, Winfred Lynch; and sisters, Patricia (Albert) Martinez, and Gracie (Ramon) DeLeon. Beatrice worked as a Registered Nurse at the Nueces County Substance Abuse Treatment Facility and dedicated herself to the SATF's success and well-being by giving a piece of her heart to each and every resident she cared for. A considerate soul, Beatrice was very loving and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She will be dearly missed.

Visitation will be at Guardian Funeral Home on February 6, 2017 from 3-9 PM with a Holy Rosary at 7 PM. Funeral Mass will be at Christ the King Catholic Church on February 7, 2017 at 11:30 AM. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery at 1 PM.
