Barbara McBee, 86, of Morgan Mill, Texas, passed away on April 9, 2026, surrounded by loved ones.

She was born on November 14, 1939, to Joe and Bessie Broome. Barbara was known for her spunky attitude, strong spirit, and deep love for her family. She lived life with energy, determination, and a personality that left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.

Barbara loved spending her time on the golf course and treasured every opportunity to be with family and friends. She had a vibrant spirit and brought warmth, laughter, and strength wherever she went. She was happiest making memories with those she loved most and enjoying the simple pleasures of life.

Barbara was also a proud and accomplished businesswoman. She built her career owning a chain of Texaco service stations, something she was extremely proud of. Her success reflected her hard work, independence, and determination, and it remained one of her greatest accomplishments.

She is survived by her three sons, Johnny, Joseph, and Billy, along with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and multiple nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Bessie Broome; her brothers, Joe and Jackie; her sister, Ginny; and her son, Greg.

Barbara will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the blessing of knowing and loving her.
