Obituary
Aurora Valent, 84, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 in the comfort of her home. She was surrounded by her sons, daughters, son-in-laws, and grandchildren when Jesus lifted her up to heaven with the palm of his hands. She was a retired school bus driver for twenty six years. She was a loving mother to all her children. She was born on November 27, 1933 in Pettus, Texas to Pablo and Petra Arriola. Aurora was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Alfonso Valent, three sisters, Mary Arriola, Margie Vaughn, Christine Weir and a brother Martin Arriola. She is survived by seven children, Ruby(Rachel) Valent, Alfonso Valent, Jr., Rose Mary (George) Escamilla, Mary Alice (Santos) Carrasco, Sandra (Danny) Rodriguez, Rudy Valent and Albert Valent, two brothers, Albert (Margie) Arriola and Robert Arriola, along with a brother-in-law Richard Valent and a sister-in-laws Julia Valent, Mary Arriola, fourteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. She also leaves behind numerous loving relatives and close friends.
Public visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. Monday, November 19, 2018 at Guardian funeral home chapel "A" with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that evening. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at Most Precious Blood Catholic church, 3502 Saratoga Blvd. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Ruby Valent, Robert Arriola, William Valent, Albert Valent, Jr., Rudy Valent, Jr., and Jose Manuel Barrera. The Valent family would like to graciously thank all family members relatives and friends for expressing their most precious love for her. Greatly Appreciated!
