Obituary
Our beloved Baby Boy, Athen Rozay Piñon, age 4, went to our Lord and Savior on June 17, 2018 to be reunited with his great grandmother Maria Juanita Bazaldua and great uncles, Guadalupe III and Rene Bazaldua. He was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on February 7, 2014. Athen was a loving son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend.
He is survived by his loving mother Amanda R. Piñon, his grandparents, Hector "Grandpa" Piñon Sr. and Dora "NaNa" Bazaldua; his siblings, Aiden, twin sister Aleyah, and Azaiden; and his biological father, Juan Ramirez (Jennifer).
Baby Boy will be greatly missed by his maternal great grandfather, Guadalupe Bazaldua Jr. (Sherry); his paternal great grandparents, Manuel and Julia Piñon; his uncles, Hector Jr (Dora), Justin (Amber), and Jordan. Athen leaves behind his great aunts and uncles; and numerous cousins and friends, to cherish his memories.
Athen was loved by his family and admired by all who knew him for his beautiful smile. Baby Boy loved watching and dancing to Mickey Mouse Clubhouse with his twin sister and brothers. He enjoyed playing with ALL his cousins and spending time with his great cousin, Jessica "CaCa" Bazaldua.
Pallbearers will be Hector Jr., Justin, Jordan and Ralph Sr. Honorary pallbearers will be Hector Sr. and Juan Ramirez.
Funeral Services will be held at Guardian Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 5 pm til 9 pm on Sunday, July 1, 2018 in Chapel A with a Rosary at 7 pm that evening. Chapel Services will be held at 10am on Monday, July 2, 2018 with Pastor Daniel Sanchez officiating from Glory Full Gospel Church. Doors will open at 9 am that morning. Burial Services will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
